The Jewish Guild for the Blind’s GuildNet program is New York State’s second largest managed long term care plan and the only program that has a focus on serving blind and visually impaired individuals. We are seeking a sales professional to market our managed long term care and Medicare plan.
Responsibilities include:
• Identifying and marketing to seniors and disabled persons and to agencies that serve such populations;
• Presentations to consumers and professional groups;
• Meeting sales goals, management objectives and implementing strategies to increase enrollment;
• Marketing to Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries;
• Working at health fairs;
• Arranging/conducting seminars and sales events to increase exposure and enrollment;
• Developing and maintaining new contacts and/or partnerships in the community.

| Requirements: |
A minimum three years healthcare sales experience and excellent verbal/written communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups. Possession of or willingness to obtain, at own cost and within 60 days, a NYS Accident and Health Producer’s license and a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance & access to a car are also necessary. BS/BA degree, Home Care Marketing experience and bilingual English/Spanish, English/Russian or English/Chinese preferred. |
