Comprehensive health care services are offered at The Guild's Center for Medical and Vision Services. This center addresses the complex health care issues of persons with vision impairment in an environment that respects their health and personal needs.
Licensed by the New York State Department of Health under Article 28 of the New York State Public Health Law, the Center for Medical and Vision Services enables patients to receive many of their needed medical and vision treatments in one convenient location.
Accepting Medicare, Medicaid and most third party insurance, the Center for Medical and Vision Services provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic treatments for persons with vision loss due to a variety of conditions including:

What We Offer
- Low Vision Rehabilitation - We assist patients who have reduced vision, by providing low vision devices and therapeutic interventions to maximize usable vision, enhance their quality of life, and enable patients to function safely and independently.
- Diabetes Care - The Center for Diabetes Care is an intensive program which provides diabetics with specialized education and instruction on how to manage their disease in order to minimize complications, preserve remaining vision and improve quality of life. Our Diabetes Self-Management Education Program has been awarded recognition by the American Diabetes Association in accordance with the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs.
- Primary Care - Our staff of board certified physicians is especially sensitive to the needs and concerns of patients with vision loss and we are affiliated with New York's premier hospitals to ensure the best possible continuity of care for our patients.
